We watched Rapunzel prior to Goldilocks productions and liked it a lot.We were expecting similar performance,but were slightly disappointed.The storyline was not very engaging ,but the overall actors' performance was very good.

Alike several other recent holiday performances for children, the above show was in my opinion a very good value for money, highly entertaining, interactive, involving the audience, and presenting a good standard. The actors can be commended for allowing an extra time to spend with the kids after the show, talking to them, giving autographs, and posing for photos.

Favourite moment: When mama bear said "they will shoot me and mount me" and dad bear added " on the wall". Loved the way it had bits for the adults too @

I love the way the actors interacted with the kids and adults. The actors did a great job and acted really well. I child loved baby bear the best. The only part I thought that was a bit vague is when the butterfly comes around to tell Goldilocks how many minutes she has to wind up the show...

Great show for young and old! My 4 year old enjoyed it, my 8 year old neice enjoyed it, I enjoyed it (40yrs old) and my mum enjoyed it (60yrs old)!

Overall the show was enjoyable, costumes were imaginative,background music good and it flowed well.
However I was disappointed that the meeting between Goldilocks and Baby Bear included them picking their noses and loud noises to indicate flatulence. Considering the audience is made up of impressionable children is this not teaching them that these things are funny. Most little children need no further encouragement with 'toilet' humour and I would have thought the story has stood the test of time and does need this sort of thing added.

A very entertaining play even though it was quite far off from the story line at variuos points my daughter still really enjoyed it. The traditional story seemed to be covered in the first 5 minutes and then the last 5 minutes! The bit in between was entertaining though.

Have been to most of the holiday programmes over the last few years. This was one of the best. Great music and plenty of interrraction for the children.

I recently took my 4 yr old to see golidlocks and she really enoyed it, Personally I thought it dragged on a bit and took for ever to get to the story all the kids knew and were waiting for. The majority of the show is monolgue against a black backdrop.
The actors were great and they were very creative in it's presentation. However, there was one thing I was unhappy with, enough to deter me from going to the next show, if it was to reporoduce. The blatant incorporation of their sponsors into the show, i thought it was dissapointing to hear the sponsors be mentioned and then to make all the kids in the audience pretend to eat a paddle pop ice cream was pushing the limits, come on guys, this kind of behaviour woudln't be acceptable on TV, why should it by in a captive theatre. Luckily my girl didn't really "get it" but in a years time she will.

W e went with our two daughters (aged 18ths and 3 1/2yrs), and their best friends (aged 2 and 4 years) They LOVED IT! Really getting into the audience involvement.
It was about 10mins too long for the younger two - who started to get ants in their pants, but other than that, was a great outing, and a fab introduction to theatre. It is for the kids, but with a few cheeky little inuendo's for the adults to keep them going.
Our oldest is now requesting we go to the next production - Jack and the bean Stalk....

We took a couple of just about 4yr olds. It was excellent. Not too long, very easy for them to understand, very panto-like(lots of yelling he's behind you)and a bt of humour for the mums as well. Actors were great.

I took 3 little girls from aged 3 to 7 to Goldilocks and the 3 bears - we all enjoyed it immensely! The modern spin on the familar tale kept us all entertained right up to the last minute. The use of familiar classical music for the dance sequences was well done and added to the charm of it - I especially enjoyed the 3 bears forest march!
The audience participation kept the little ones from squirming in their seats and made them feel like they were part of the production!

Excellent show for kids. This group always do such great entertainment for the kids. Kids love the shows and we go every school holidays if we can. Actors are great. Love the way they involve the kids in the audience and they also use some humour to keep adults entertained. For the price of a movie ticket, I'd rather take the kids to these live shows. Highly recommended.

Looking at it from a childs point of view I think it took too long to get into the main part of the story i.e. the house and Goldilocks trying everything. My granddaughter kept asking when was Goldilocks going to try the bed etc then that part went all too quickly. Good audience participation and good use of props.

Goldilocks and the Three Bears was entertainment for the whole family. It was not at all what I was expecting and is an awesome show. Humour is wholesome and witty and there are a few jokes thrown in that the adults can have a chuckle to that the kids wouldn't understand. I look forward to Jack & the Beanstalk!
