We thought Wicked was fabulous, the set, the cast, the story, the costumes were all amazing. I would love to see it again and would highly recommend it to everyone.

Wicked is an exceptionally good night out. The performances are impeccable, songs witty and richly expressive, costumes and set design sumptuous. It's clearly an impressive production, just don't go expecting any of the darkness or depth of characterization present in the novel on which this musical is based. Lots of fun. Of note, the set has some interesting steam punk overtones.

I was fortunate to see Wicked this past week, and every moment was better than the last.
The performance was great, the songs were memorable and I'm still singing them.
There was comedy, drama, action, romance, it is fun for the whole family.
It brought epic to a whole new level! Definitely recommended!

Even if you're someone (as i am) who isn't necessarily a massive fan of the musical genre this is a MUST SEE. What a fantastic interpretation of these characters and what an interesting take on all that we don't see when we watch The Wizard of Oz! It's really really funny. I'd go again and have already been telling everyone that they need to see it too.

I saw Wicked in London's West End a few years ago..unfortunately we had seats way up in the balcony. However, we still thought it was fabulous.
I vowed to go back and get better tickets so Sydney was our next chance. And we were not disappointed - 4 rows from the front and it was just awesome. Relatively small cast compared with other muscial shows but it was just perfect. I adore the music and it was a fantastic birthday treat - hope the show comes to New Zealand sometime in the future!

I hate to write a bad review, but I have been watching and loving musicals for many years and this was just a big dissapointment. I spent most of the first half waiting for the story to begin and then realised it had. I found the whole show tedious and boring. The songs were dull, one or two words repeated over and over again, i.e. Wonderful.and they weren't catchy show tunes. Most scenes were dull with two people having the same conversation, I'm not your friend, I am your friend, I'm not your friend. I felt like I had walked into a high school drama. The performers all did a great job although the fake American accents seemed unnecessary.
My 9 year old loved this, but we just wish we had spent our $140 ticket on something else.

I didn't know anything about Wicked and I hadn't heard any of the music except "Defying Gravity" and I just couldn't believe how fantastic it was. I thoroughly enjoyed it from beginning to end. It was far from predictable and I enjoyed all the little surprises that occured throughout the show. I also loved the quirky references to the Wizard of Oz. I have recommended Wicked to all my friends and I am really looking forward to seeing it again and again!

What a fantastic show - fabulous theatre, fantastic set, wonderful costumes and amazing performances. My daughter and I loved it and would highly recommend it - if you're thinking about going just do it! Great entertainment.

I took my niece there from Auckland it was fantastic singing of a really high standard lightening and special effects fantastic and the costumes really amazing .We both thoroughly enjoyed it .

The singing was wonderful, the costumes inspiring! We thoroughly enjoyed this musical and would recommend it to anyone. The 'Defying gravity' song has been sung by the cast of TV's 'Glee' and has become very popular. We loved it!

I was truly amazed at the overall skill and high caliber of performance from every single cast person in this fantastically entertaining and awe-inspiring musical. The talent of these people is incredible! I have been raving about the musical ever since I arrived back in New Zealand and would eagerly make a second trip to Sydney to see it a second time. I rate this show 20 out of 10! You gotta see it and experience it for yourself to know the true joy this is to watch and get totally lost in. I am green with envy of your energy and talents! Thank you sincerely.

From the set and effects , to the costumes to the music and the characters the show was one of the best I have seen. Entertaining and vibrant throughout. Thoroughly recommend it

Not the best ever musical but a lot of beautiful costumes and some wonderful singing. Some parts a bit hard to follow but got there in the end. I hope some of it was meant to be 'bad' acting but it suited the scene usually. Wonderful mechanics and very enthusiastic conductor. Well done!
