I took my Gran & my partner to this show - we all enjoyed it enormously, the talent, the costumes the professional production was outstanding. You could tell that the cast absolutely loved what they were doing and they really engaged the audience.
Great humour and story, you can't beat a classic!

A high energy, classic performance with a highly talented cast. A great performance by all in this foot tapping, snappy number with superb costumes and stage sets.
A performance never to forget and as well performed as any I'v seen in the West End.

Fantastic show, every actor was on the button, it was a slick, tight, and thoughroughly entertaining. Well done cast I was in as time warp on a cruise ship with show girls gangsters and the opulant rich where anything goes. As good as any show I have seen on West End or Broadway. Brilliant direction, Choroegraphy and stunning costumes. Thank you Auckland Theate Company.

We are very short of great old tuneful musicals played by fabulous people with wonderful voices. The two leads particularly, did Cole Porter proud!
Great costumes and a wonderful ensemble playing that glorious music beautifully.
One standout was that it was not too loud, as so many are. The last show I saw in the Civic hurt my ears all night.
Seriously considering going again. Shame so many seats were empty, must have been the rugby on that Sunday afternoon.

We just love being in the Civic Theatre but even more so when there is a good show. I thought it was really humorous and laughed out loud a lot. The singing was really good and the costumes and staging were great too. Not much of a storyline, but it didn't really matter. I left in a good mood.

My wife and myself and our two teenager sons just loved the whole show from start to finish. We wondered if our sons who are 18 and 15 years old would enjoy it but they loved it too. The costumes, singing and acting was outstanding. What a credit to NZ to have so many talented people performing this musical. The music was incredible too. Jackie Clarke is so talented she is such a great actor and singer!!!!

Auckland Music Theater have a history of BRILLIANT productions, going back decades, so I am confident recommending this one in advance. I really like their home theater, as it is small, charming, and full of character, and is at the back of Motat and the Zoo. Their last amazingly brilliant, blockbuster, at the Civic, was 42 nd Street, October 2010, and it outclassed The West End, for sheer enthusiasm, and vitality, that their amateur artists convey.
