The event is a lot of fun and fantastic for kids. but this year I thought there were not enough places for the kiddies to collect goodies and they were too spread out
I don't think that adults should have been winning prizes, only kiddies
Some of the zombies/chara]cters seemed to go out of their way to scare small children
The entertainment wasn't as good as previous years.

The event start time was very late. This event should start around 3-4 pm and finish around 9pm. that way you can enjoy day time zoo.

I must highly recommend Boo @ the Zoo, as a great way for any family to have an outing together in a very safe, secure, highly organised location on halloween!!!
There was lots to do, (we have a 1 1/2 & 3 1/2) but the best was watching our 3 year old daughter, moshing it up at the front of the stage with Spongebob & band singing!! It was worth the tickets just for that!!!
Thanks to Auckland Zoo, we are now applying to be 'Friends of the Zoo' & to nickelodeon for putting on such a great event

Hi, we had been given this huge brown bag and walked the zoo empty and had had very dissappointed kids with empty bags, what a let down and the show and stage was awesome for adults and the other events happening where to busy we had to abort the queues to go on the one slide and see spongebob, how awful and the kids where let down, no treats to retrieve and all that walking. The tiny amount for the hoardes of kids given out in buckets was just to little for a crowd, so many had empty bags. Although the sweets where given right at the end, we cheered up but half heartedly, WISHED I HAD STAYED HOME AND TRICK OR TREATED!!!!!

Great family atmosphere with awesome sideshows. My 3 yr old had a great time 'stalking' Dora the Explorer.
The only down side was considering that it costs $22 for all over 4yrs to get in surely they could afford to give all the little one's a lucky bag?

Overall the event was well run and the events at the Band Rotunda were entertaining. I think that there could be more going on around the zoo when you walk around i.e giveaways, the kids were looking for something to fill up there treat bags with (lollies) but there wasn't a lot on offer. Good family night
