Absolutely fantastic - all the leads were brilliant and the supporting cast wonderful. Entertaiinment fro all ages - fabulous!

We, my wife, 12 year old daughter and myself had a wonderful night at Hairspray.
I went with fairly low expectations, thinking my daugfhter would enjoy it the most, and found myself swept up in the whole show, tapping my feet and jumping up at the end and dancing to the last song!
Thought the electronic sets were tremendous and very cleverly done.
The lead was amazing in that not only was she very talanted but she just seemed to be having such a great time performing.....very well picked.
We just had a wonderful night, the highlight of our visit to Sydney.

We went to the evening performance of Hairspray (i wasn't feeling very enthusiastic as i wanted to see something else) The show was absolutely brilliant, lots of energy, brilliant dancing and wonderful costumes.

A high energy, vibrant, colourful show.
Lots of funny moments and our 3 daughters loved it.
Strong acting, singing and dancing from all parts. Loved the well delivered dead pan quips from penny.
Definitely Worth Seeing.

One of the best shows I have seen.Singing was great background especially good.Loved every minute from start to finish.Can't wait for it to come to NZ so we can see it again!!!

Possibly the most unusual musical that I have ever seen. I am still trying to work out how the scene changes were done. One moment I thought that it was all by projection but I could not see shadows from the cast that would be commensurate with projection. It is a very high energy show and I am sure that the cast must be absolutely exhausted after each performance. The band was hidden away and the only time you caught a glimpse of them was at the end and even then the view was obscured by a large suspended decorative effect. The singing and acting was good but the facet that really stood out and which makes this a show not to be missed is the staging. I was surprised at the number of empty seats on a Saturday evening performance.
