Our tickets were given to us as a gift and what a gift it was! We enjoyed every moment.
Our seats gave us a perfectly clear view of the whole show,
Although Kenny is looking older his voice sounds just the same.
The Topp Twins are ageless!
We only purchased a small bottle of water and thought the bar and food prices were very expensive, but we didn't let that spoil our night.
Overall, it was a fantastic night and as it was our first time to the Vector we were very
impressed with the venue.

The Topp Twins were a great start to the show.

Kenny was wonderful - such a great performer, relaxed entertainer, and total star. He sang all the songs we wanted to hear, plus some. His connection with the audience was outstanding.

A great night out despite the weather. Topp Twins were tops, great fun and music,every one had a ball.
Kenny was great with all his well known songs although he seems to have slowed down a bit and seemed to have trouble finishing off lyrics, but a great show overall.

I am not really a country and western fan so really went to see Kenny preform the old hits he did in the 60's with the First Edition and he did those well Good on him - Wished he done Somethings Burning - but hey you cant have it all

The big surprise was how good the Topp Twins were - I was aware of them, of course but had never been to a show and they certainly exceeded my expectations

We had a great night at the Kenny Rogers concert. He was so much fun involving the crowd and telling jokes which was quite surprising. He sang many many hits which you couldn't help but sing along.
The supporting act The Topp Twins brought a surprise with them by way of an up and coming Kiwi singer Cameron Luxton. At just 15 years old he was amazing and I hope he will go far. Check him out and support a KIwi.

Favourite moment: When Kenny read out the lyrics to one of his songs - referring to the acid days of the 60's. This was very funny. @

Opening act(s): The Topp Twins. It has to be said that you either love or hate this duo and my opinion is definitely the latter. I have to confess that I did enjoy them on this occassion and the many tears of laughter told a story. It does not mean I am a convert though :-) @

I grew up to Kenny Rogers being played (on vinyl) when my mother did the housework. I could give or take seeing him, however as my mother wanted to go and wanted me to go along for the ride - I did just that. I had low (ish) expectations, and was really suprised at how much I enjoyed the show. I even remembered ALL of the lyrics. It was a great night and even though Kenny did not look like his svelte self of yester year (he should not have had the facelift), if you closed your eyes and listened to the music he sounded no different to how I remember him on the housework days, except the quality of sound was way better. I was itching to get out of my seat and dance, but at the risk of blocking the view of fellow show goers to the left and behind me, I elected to sing out loud, clap in time to the beat and toe tap from the comfort of my seat. Les must have been a happy chap, having made back the price of his ticket (and some) with the American $10 bills that Kenny kept throwing at him.

Kenny Rogers played to a typical New Zealand audience, he sang the old favorites, which is why we went. Great to see he joked with the audience in the way New Zealanders like. Mentioned his new family, we remember when he brought his new love to the Mission Concert. This time he introduced a film of his 6 year old twins.

Concert was brilliant, Kenny is still gorgeous and Ohhhh that sexy voice. Topp twins lead in act was hilarious, enjoyed every moment of the entire concert.
Sang...danced... laughed....what more do you need for a great night night out !

Thank you Kenny, Lynda, Jools ... you are all great entertainers.

My only complaint, Got a taxi to Vecta, One... so we didn't lost ... yes anything is possible when I am driving & Two .... it was raining so figured we would get dropped at the doors and not get wet..... NO...... Vecta traffic controllers were making taxis drop passengers at the gate .... had to walk about 300m in the rain .... not good when you want to look your best for Kenny !

Opening act(s): Not really a fan of Topp Twins, they used the same old material all the time. Would have liked to see another NZ Country singer, especially with an artist like Kenny Rogers following. Actually, Kenny Rogers never even mentioned them when he started. @

We really enjoyed this concert. Kenny can not hold the notes as well as he used to, but we were expecting that. He is 72. The way he told stories and involved the crowd was really well done and the crowd singing was like a singalong at the local pub. The music was a really good mix.

Took my 82 year old Dad to see and listen to Kenny Rogers and the Topp Twins. He was amazed at how easy it was for us to find out where we were going in the arena and how helpful the staff were.
