I liked it how the band were on for the first 15 minutes before George Clinton came on. I think he is the master and it will go down as one of my unforgettable nights. P funk set me alight when they were grooving on throughout the set before he came on to perform Flashlight and the rest including knee deep, shit god damn (get off your ass and jam), atomic dog, give up the funk, maggot brain, and one nation under a groove. I'll see him again when he comes back.

A must see for anyone interested in funk. George brings along a variety of characters who each are amazing at their musical krafts. Go to this show as you won't be disappointed!

Overall it was an enjoyable show, and as an avid Funk fan for many years since high school I was always going to think I was getting value for money seeing one of Funks founding fathers on stage. My main gripe is against the boys on the sound desk, they were over-driving the PA and therefore the vocals didn't have very good clarity, and the mid's were too high. Next time I hope that they get people on the desk with a better feel for the sound. Despite that this was a 3 hour Funk treat,

The man himself seemed a bit tired, but Parliament-Funkadelic are an ensemble and the rest of the band were great.
You don't come to a Parliament-Funkadelic gig expecting James Brown levels of tightness. They were loose and fun, like the best jam session you ever heard.
I missed Clinton last time he brought the show to New Zealand when I was studying in Auckland, as I couldn't afford a ticket and elected to buy groceries instead. It was well worth the flight from Christchurch to amend this poor decision.

Godfather of Funk delivered what he promised.Pure funkedelic sounds that toched the soul and made me questioned "did some spike my drink??".

Great to see a legend in action. The venue was very good, the sound quality excellent and the performers seemed to enjoy it as much as the whooping crowd.

George Clinton and band are true professionals and deliver great funky music. Downturn was the sound. Not sure was it the mix or the equipment. At times there were 6 and more singers but one could barely hear one clearly.
