What an amazing atmosphere at The Domain in Sydney from the crowd, the supporting act and Jack himself, all topped off by his forced break for the "Oprah Winfrey" fireworks! He took it all in his stride. It is well worth seeing him 'live' and topped off a great weekend across the Tasman from NZ to see him.

Jack is wonderful, he sings all the songs you want him to sing - all the favourites, the familiars and the feel-good songs. He still forgets the lyrics but is nowhere near the same as he was back in the days of playing support for Ben Harper.

A must see. Loved the ease of the floor admission into Vector, but think New Plymouth would have suited the nature of the music/musician better! Wish I could have gone to that one.

This is the first time i had been in the Arena, i bought my tickets at last minute, but was not disappointed with the seats, it was great to see Jack perform, the opening was awesome as well, had never heard of tegan and sara.
Was a great night, and can't wait til he comes back to Auckland.

we (3) had a great night hanging out with Jack! was a great show, he played plenty of the well know old songs as well as some fantastic new ones. Also have to say i did love his take on Rudolph the rednosed raindeer. Great entertainer & would definatley see him again.

jack johnson is possibly one of the best shows ive been to. the seats were amazing, and music was awesome, the opening band, was medioca, but jack just blew me away.
just dont take a bag, unless willing to be searched 3 times

Just fantastic, easy access to and from the event and quick to purchase beverages etc.

The cost of the beverages is rather hight considering you could see them at bar prices and still make a large mark up.

He put on a great show!

Great concert, performance was cool but venue is in desparate need of a big screen. The sound was awesome but really I feel half the crowd are missing out one of the key reasons to go to a concert when there's no big screen. Went to U2 the other week and they brought a 100 screens of their own so it would surely be within the means of Vector Arena to get one big screen out to the side of the stage for their concerts. Anyway that's my gripe but don't want to detract from what was otherwise a brilliant performance by Jack. He comes across as a real genuine performer who performs for all the right reasons and avoids the hype as much as you can when you make

I have had the privilege of attending many concerts and this is the second time I have seen Jack Johnson and he still sits right up there in my top 5. I love his absolute chilled out view and the concert was almost like a super large garage filled with 10,000 people while the band practiced and had a good time. He came out in jandals, his pianist in socks and they just continued to play for two hours, all of the oldies and some from the new album and tour with the same name - To The Sea.. He was so in the zone that he almost forgot to interact with the audience.

Cant wait for him to come back, because I will be first in line yet again, everytime I go, it's money well spent.

Jack Johnson has to be one of the best Ive seen in a while.
Totally loved the chilled out sounds, the solo's, EVERYTHING!
I was glad he did a bunch of his old songs as well.
Overall fantastic, sounded exactly like on the albums.

I found the Canadian group terrible and I thought it was quite rude to impose such a band on people who had come to see Jack Johnson. We had to endure seven or eight of their songs which was really painful!
Jack Johnson was good but I realise that it is best listened to while doing something or on the beach relaxing...not amongst an anonymous crowd which is standing still most of the time and not dancing. But maybe that's because his music would fit the easy-listening category more than the dancing one!

I wasn't sure what to expect, but Jack was excellent, much better than I thought he would be and dare I say it, better than listening to his CDs! The sound quality was great, and the band were really entertaining. It wasn't over the top and he played solidly for 2 hours, fantastic. Only thing that I found disappointing was the lack of a big screen so that you could actually see the artists, as unless you are down in the standing area, the seated area is just too far to see any of the artists I have been to see at the arena, which is a real shame. Not sure if it's the artists choice or the arena's choice, but personally I think it's a bad one. Quite a few people had binoculars in order to see the group!

great concert! was awesome to see jack live again!
really enjoyed it!
however, I don't think the venue was the most suitable for him.
an outdoor space area would have been way more appropriate. he is no the type a guyto play in a big stadium.....

would go and see him anytime again though!

Jack is legendry and a great singer. I really think the venue is what let him down. Jack is more a pub or beach performer and the vector arena just did him no favours at all. He doesnt interact with the audience much and lighting and effects were very average.. Jack i will be back to see you, but hopefully at another venue, a little smaller and more like you.

I thought that Jack Johnson and his band were wicked. They varied the music between slow and fast which got a lot of people up dancing.
It would have been good if there were big screens on stage so that people at the back could see the guys.
The venue was ok.

Had to sit sideways to view the stage. There was no big screen, so hard to see him. Something was wrong with the mike as couldn't hear clearly. Wish he would chat to the audience more as it really connected when he did. At the end of the day, he is awesome.

Jack was even better in person that he is on cd, and thats hard to beat!! Just an awesome concert, he is incredible, and played the perfect combination of old and new songs. Couldn't stop smiling afterwards!
