I was the geek that with my twin in tow - got there on time. I didn't know what to expect... quite disappointed at first at the lowly numbers. Pre-Entertainment DJ - Cool sounds (played Fat Freddy's so already happy) and soon the venue was packed! The demographic of the crowd was broad - groups of teens, to young adults, mature and people from many nations.
I can honestly say I didn't expect the light and sound spectacular or such a well put together show. Each set had a mood conveyed through the lyrics and music, lighting and special effects. Sade was absolutely amazing - her voice as soulful and sexy as ever. Again surprised at the eclectic pieces from rock, military, jazz, r & b, dance - yes dance! She sung all the classics with quite a few from her latest CD Soldier of Love. Needless to say I was the geek lip-sincing all the words to every song. I love that she acknowledged the band who along with the amazing back up singers exuded uber cool... just like Sade! I felt so lucky to be there in that stadium with such fervent fans, they cheered for a whole 2 minutes until she returned to perform one final song. I loved loved loved the concert! Thanks to the hubbie for shouting me and ma twin to see Sade - love you long time my honey!

Sade & her outstanding band created magic. An unforgettable & slick show that filled the core of my soul with the Sade love vibe. I've thrashed, & grooved to this music for 27 yrs & to see her live was the ultimate. 2 hrs passed way too quickly. Can't wait for the world tour DVD!!! Heartfelt aroha
