Henry Rollins walked on stage at 8.45 and spat out information, opinions, observations, advice and humour like a well-meaning but maniacal machine gun.
He was challenging, thought provoking, outrageous at time and downright hysterical.
If you've never seen him do his thing, take a group pof friends and do it. A great experience and well worth the night out.

Once again Henry connects with an audience of like minded people,
I see little difference between this guy and the Dali lama, oh except Henry is alot hotter than his holiness but hey who has it all?
Henry and his Holiness have the ability to inspire and motivate their followers and for that reason I am grateful to them both. Henry's intelligence and wit descend on a variety of topics from politics to prostitution bringing us together with his observations on the state of the world. His words are ceaseless delivered with humility and panache and I look forward to growing older and wiser with Mr Rollins.

Ole Hank has an opinion that points to a man with intelligence. He shares his tolerance of US politicians and their policies (or lack there of), an insight to an ageing gentleman who has seen plenty & travelled to more places than I can recite.
Not a show for those seeking comic relief but it’s there along with 2 ½ hours non stop oral bombardment.
A great orator that makes you think about issues that are out there but sometimes from a slightly different angle. In a previous life he may have been a shaman or at least considered a wise ole man.

The spoken word tours from henry rollins are always insightful and relevant and this one was no exception. He managed to grab your attention from the get go and hold for 2 and a half hours without you realising it. He is an excellent public speaker, funny tales from his youth and a relevant messege made this an experienve not to forget.

Just some positive affirmation for Henrys current tour and great show in

Never short of insight, opinion and humour with the right mix of making the
audience think while making them laugh, sure and sometimes cringe.

Henry is here and straight up relevent as ever.
There is a strange brew of people that turn up to Henry's spoken word performances these days and he puts a solid effort into catering for them all.
Uncle Henry may never grow up but he sure has matured in his approach.A master of the art of challenging and these days "in a nice way" which
increases the impact and is less like to alienate people than the younger self confessed "big ugly mouth" version

Still,dont go and see Henry if you cant take having your views challenged or dont want to increase your ability to think, if you only know the name or reputation then check out you tube before you buy a ticket.
For long time fans ,the new travel stories work well with Bangkok and Laos storylines hitting
the points. Plenty of insights as to what is occupying his frenetic world.

Henry calls on us to step and make on impact on the world we live in, never afraid to deal to the big issues .The opening and the graduation speech piece remind us all to take positive

I dont know how you could walk away from a Henry Rollins performance, spoken word or otherwise and think, damm I've got to do something impactful on the big stage of life.
This guy has the smarts, the energy, the honesty and the guts to live life full on full time.

Amazing guy, talked for 3 hrs non-stop, and i mean non-stop! I didn't even see him take a drink from his water bottle. I was captivated for 3 hrs.

I had never heard of Henry Rollins uptil now and wa invited to his show by a friend who thought I might like it. I didn't even know what I was going to hear.. music, singing .. no idea. Well from the moment he appeared on stage I was riveted and have since been singing his praises to all and sundry ( many of whom have also never heard of him!). What an amazing raconteur, what vigour, what elocution, what vocabulary and knowledge and what passion. I hope he doesn't wait 2 years before coming here again as I will then get all and sundry to come along and listen to this man!

Henry has a real passion and enthusiasm for what he does, and still has plenty to say.
He spoke for around two and a half hours and kept the crowd right there with him the whole time. If you've got a change to see him doing the spoken word thing in the future definitely take it, he's got plenty to say.
