This was great but it was just too loud and to heavy for me. I was really hoping they would play Just Breathe by Pearl jam which would have taken the concert to a new level. Thats an epic song.

Show was amazing. Laser lights like i'v never seen before. And the big floating coffins which doubled as lighting rigs blew me away... I like a coffin.. Crowd was great. not too agressive. I liked the 360 design of the stage as it meant everyone got a good view.
Loved that they stayed on stage after the show for ages & interacted with their fans. Amazing live act. A must see.

This was the best concert i've been to. The audio quality was awesome without being too loud. The laser show and pyrotechnics were spectacular as were the moving coffins housing the lighting. Didnt get into lamb of god but that wasnt what i was there for. The vector arena was an awesome place for concerts, clean and tidy and helpfull staff. Pity the food and beverages were so expensive. Overall though i had a great time and would have loved to have gone on the thursday night also.

We really enjoyed the Metallica portion of this concert, we had great seats, which comes from booking at 9.02am on the day they went on sale.

Metallica was great, they played all my favourite songs, so I was happy. The music was very very loud (I know, it was a rock concert) but at times it all sort of melded into each other. Awesome band though, totally worth all the travel, accommodation and tickets.

Totally blown away by the age range, from 17 to 77! No kidding, there was a guy there who was 77 if he was a day!

Having never seen Metallica live before I was Super-excited to be there. I was expecting to be blown away
- I was not disappointed. Due on at 9pm, they ran out to the stage at 9.03pm! 'One' was the 3rd song played. I was hoping it was going to be epic, and epic it was. The stage went dark, the choppers were heard overhead, the crowd went nuts (myself included). It was phenomenal!! The band were amazing; guitar changes, the drum pit spinning round. James' voice so clear and controlled. Summary - bloody awesome! The coolest thing I have ever been witness to.

Metallica came, we saw, they kicked our asses!!

Metallica are renouned for putting on a great show and put on a great show they did. We were treated to some of the best metal on the planet supplemented by some of the most amazing light show to come to New Zealand with intense pyrotechnics. Many artists tend to leave their big concert rigs at home and come to New Zealand with just the basics. Not these guys. I'm definitely looking forward to seeing whether they'll release one of their Death Magnetic shows on DVD. Though it would be lacking the atmosphere, this show is worth seeing.

I don't think i know enough words to explain how amazing this show was. Unbeatable! I have been to many shows and this is one of the best I've been to along side IRON MAIDEN.. I mean I am speechless! The songs were great, the band was great. The crowd was great. They played all my favorite songs (although that's almost all of them)
