General Fiasco was Amazing!

Favourite moment: General Fiasco were playing 'Rebel Get By' and Owen Strathern stopped singing so you could just hear the crowd. He said our singing was beautiful! @

This was my first ever gig at the PowerStation. I was very impressed and the sound was brilliant. The supporting bands were 'Pistol Youth' and 'Jury and the Saints'. They were pretty good. However General Fiasco were amazing! I might be a bit bias because I am a HUGE Fiasco fan but I still maintain it was the best live band I had seen in a very long time. My favourite song was 'Sinking Ships' which is now my favourite on their cd, 'Buildings'. The energy was huge and they sounded great live. We even got to meet the band afterwards, where I took photos of my friend and the band and got autographs.
Overall a great gig, one I will not forget in a very long time!

Me and my friend flew up to Auckland from New Plymouth on Friday the 13th. As we arrived at the venue [Auckland Power-station] we were full with excitement and anticipation for what we were about to watch. Running in we got the best seats in the house right in front of the barrier. First to play was Pistol Youth ruff rocky down to earth music next The Jury And The Saints rock pop kind of music i absolutely loved them but couldn't wait for General Fiasco to come on stage.As the band walked on the crowed went wild.Everyone screaming "WE LOVE YOU OWEN".As they started to play time flew to fast this was the best concert i have ever been to.I appreciated them so much more seeing them and hearing them live. The best part at the end when they came out to sign everything and anything. They were the nicest guys i have ever met.If they come back to New Zealand [i hope they do] I will be there to see them play again i fully recommend them to anyone GENERAL FIASCO i love you!!!!!!!

The night was INCREDIBLE. The boys (General Fiasco) sound amazing live. Just like they do on their "Buildings." They have such a stage presence. Owen was jamming out with his guitar while singing, so was his brother Enda. The drummer 'Leaky' was also fantastic. Good drummer. Amazing bunch of guys. Really sweet. They held a meet and greet at the end which was fantastic. You could talk to all of them, get them to sign your things and get your photo taken with them. The fact that they actually took the time out to do the meet and greet made my night.
