Good for parents with children in the play

If you had a child in the play then it would be enjoyable to watch. We were disappointed at the amount of talking and the lack of singing. The story was too complex for our 4 and 2 year old kids to be engaged. However, we had high expectations of The Night Before Christmas after seeing the fantastic Hansel and Gretel....

Thank you for a wonderful show, it has become a family tradition to go along to your show. Our Christmas Pantomime, oh so English. It is wonderful to have the humour and uniqueness that is built into the stories each year
Great actors and we love seeing the children as part of it, well done to all of you
I think the marketing could be built up a bit to encourage the wider and bigger audience. I think the elderly enjoy your show as much as the littlies

Really, really loved this. I took my 5 and 3 year old to this and it was pitched at just the right level. Not too long and just enough grown up humour to keep it interesting for grown ups too.

I attended "The Night Before Christmas" with 4 grand-children, aged between 3 and 11. All four thoroughly enjoyed the show - great, considering the wide age range.
We have attended one other show by this group and both shows exceeded expectations.

Colourful with plenty of action, this show will appeal to children and their parents and grandparents. The audience participation is well-judged and the music well-chosen. Part of the joy for the older members of the audience is watching the delight on the faces of the children.

Magical entertaining, where the wide eyed children, looked entranced by the amazing talent before them.
Beautiful singing, the carols entwined with the story line was brilliant. My three girls thought it was a spectacular performance - for me, throughly entertaining.

Shame it wasn't a sell out when we went on Wed at 12pm. Maybe less shows would have packed out the theatre & given it more of an atmosphere. Also came across as an amateur production rather than something that should appear on one of Auckland's main stages.

I love the Phineas Phrog shows - lots of participation from the children in the audience, lots of jokes to keep the adults laughing, and the children singing in this show were so gorgeous!
