Kevin McCloud: interesting and entertaining

An interesting, articulate and engaging man with a great wealth of valuable knowledge and ideas. Easy and enjoyable to listen to.
Disappointing to hear Kevin quip about being 'tv fluff' though when his contribution in provoking thought and understanding of living spaces,styles and values is immense. I far preferred Kevin McCloud's Radio NZ interview (which was even free ...): it was meatier! His tv programme on visiting India was superb.
Being passionate about design and the impact of design on our lives individually, our community and our planet, I went to this evening enthusiastic to learn. I have close connection to ChCh and would love to have heard more on Kevin's thoughts about 'the rebuild' for example.
The first half was interesting, even if rather light, because Kevin is fun and easy to listen to. The second half was a dull, stifling programme (geez, who's idea?).

kevin mc cloud was excellent, interesting, funny and had great opinions on lots of issues. would definatley go again

What a fab night! Had no expectations as I love Grand Designs enough. I had read Kevins book 43 principles some time before his show in Auckland and it was nice to be able to hear Kevin pull pieces from the book and personalize even more. HAB is his very interesting project and Sustainablity is his key focus here. To sum the show up in a few words would be hard but what I can say that the flight from Wellington was well worth every munite of the seminar/storytelling. A very generous spirited witty funny inspiring man is Kevin.
