True. Their gig at Bodega in May was A-MAZ-ING! They create such a warm and peaceful atmosphere, their music speaks to everyone and touches hearts. If you get the chance - go see these incredible musicians. You will be watching a national taonga.

Maxwell's strum is so fast you can't see his hand move, his string work layering up over massive delay and wah effects. He builds up an intensity in the room that your average man can barely stand in, the whole crowd looped into a stunned state of hypnotic eurphoria. Solid bass lines, and technical drum beats the only thing keeping the whole room from being flung out onto the street. Finally his warm vocals blend seemlessly like warm butter melting on a perfectly cooked musical stacka pancakes.

First came across Trinity Roots on a "Tiki Tour" here just over six years ago. This was our first chance to see them live. Brilliant just brilliant. A number of songs remained faithful to the recorded material, the rest were ramped up all the way. Clear deep bass lines, sharp guitar work, melodic keyboards and awesome drumming binding the entire set together. Great work guys.

Great gig. Stood upstairs to get good view. Crowd was plesant, atmosphere good, great vibe.
Warm up gig was awesome although would be better suited to a sit down venue due to the jazz style music and felt like a dick standing up listening to the smooth sound of her amazing voice.
Trinity Roots were amazing as always, and the mixing of songs together added an interesting touch. It's a shame it wasn't a hot summers day listening to them live outdoors in the park as that is the vibe that matches their live music so beautifully.
The only negative comment is for Powerstation peeps - dudes, the really freezing blast of airconditioning went on for too long which was uncomfortable even with coats and gloves on. Not cool (excuse the pun)
