Excellent musicianship by a great bunch of bands people. Excellent entertainment.
Favorite has to be the Euphonium player, (Barry)? Studying in Wales BUT a Kiwi with National UK bandsman of the year title.

The whole concert was excellent, Loved it.
Radio promotion allowed us to learn of the concert and attend. We were visiting from Wellington.
Ticketmaster booking system was excellent. Printed our own tickets.

Three very competitive bands followed by the best of the stars of tomorrow, the National Youth BB.
The variety of the music and the quality of both the bands and their soloists made for a wonderful afternoon.
The interlude by the group Bold as Brass was enjoyed both prior to and during the event. I am sure their performance will have won them many admirers.
Congratulations to all 3 competing bands - all had special moments when their music was exceptional.

Being an old bandsman of 17 yrs in the old One Tree Hill Band, it certainly brought back old memories.
The performances that I enjoyed most were that of the Wellington Brass and that of
North Shore Brass. They reminded me of competitions of my day.
It was great to see the upcoming talent in the NZ Youth Band,
All in all an excellent afternoon entertainment, throughly enjoyed.
