Big Mountain did an excellent version of "Baby I love your way" followed by Junior Marvin
who was a very accomplished performer and a former member of Bob Marley's band.
Then Billy Ocean came on, and despite the difference in his appearance, was just as much the showman as ever with dance moves accompanying the excellent renditions of his hits. Then came the feature act which was a bit disappointing. The vocals of Ali Campbell were good but the music was too loud and there was little to separate one song from another musically. They all sounded similar in melody. I would recommend that anyone go and see Billy Ocean if you get the chance but Ali Campbell has work to do to get his new band to sound like anything special.
