Warriors looked extremely fit and forwards took it to the Eels. Look forward to a great season if this sets a benchmark of what they will serve up.
Due to the heat this game should have started later in the day for palyers and supporters alike

Great game, great crowd, great result, great weather and ground.
The team appears laden with promise when one takes into account all those that didn't play. Even though only a pre-season it was a top spectacle. Especially Warrior defence.

Always good to get a win over the Aussies. Great to see league in Rotorua . A good crowd - could be better - but it was blazing hot and not much protection in the stand either. At this time of year perhaps evening games in the future might be more sensible.
The curtain raiser was interesting. Some of those Wellington schoolboys showed talent and although they were outplayed - they played with committment & pride.

Yes - with direct flights from Sydney to Rotorua makes this venue ideal for the Aussie teams to come over here.The weather was perfect and the game was very intertaining.
There is plenty of car parks so leaving was not a problem.

Good game, it was nice to see more people come to watch the Junior Warriors too, you pay for both games so do support the Juniors, good to see Lewis Brown in form too, since Im a Cantabrian.
