I listened to the album probably twice,I wanted to see them without to many expectations of how they sound,I knew they would be good,how could they not,mucical brilliance,from the start to the finish,it was a pleasure to see and hear consummate musicans truly enjoying their gig.

These guys were awesome. A great night was had by all I know. All of the guys didn't disapoint and lived up to their reputations. An awesome set with great sound. See these guys if you get the chance, then stalk them as they're touring.... The bouncers were the greatest & most professional that I've ever seen. They were chilled, looking out for people by giving out water and there was absolutely no agro. As a result, the crowd was completely relaxed and I didn't see any agro amongst the audience. These guys need a pay rise. Hats off guys! What the hell was with the $4.80 water in a cup though???!! Common diddles- responsible hosts???

Wow- what a concert. Had the album, took a couple of listens, then saw them play on Jonathon Ross show. Immediately bought tickets as they were great on that show. Was not disappointed...all of them are great musicians and they have fun together on stage. Great to see they can all still enjoy performing after a combination of about 75 years experience!!
Josh Homme has a great stage presence...they all complement each other brilliantly.

Opening act(s): Cairo Knifefight - absolutely brilliant! For just two guys in this band they managed to sound like a much larger band, amazing vocals and guitar playing and loved the guitar being thrown at the drum kit at the end - it was like the trashing days of old! Awesome. @

Awesome concert - one of the best I've been to - these guys know how to rock! Went with a friend, didn't know their music but like their individual styles and together they are simply amazing. I am now officially a fan, bought the CD and hope there's a lot more to come from this band. Josh Homme swaggered onto stage and belted every song out with that unbelievable voice of his, the epitome of coolness. John Paul Jones, the understated but supremely talented musician - he is rock royalty. And Dave Grohl was like a man possessed on the drums - attacking each number with ferocious enthusiasm, if anyone was born to play drums - that person is Dave Grohl - just stunning.

Them Crooked Vultures put on a professional, powerful, fun filled performance. They were determined to put on a show the audience would enjoy and delivered big time. And seemed to be having as much fun as anyone. Great, great show.

This is a great tight band but the sound was so loud in the seated area as to be unendurable. Never had to leave a rock concert early before in 40 years of watching the world's best. I wasn't the only one who left early either.
Friends on the floor said the sound was fine so may be acoustics in the arena.

Enjoyable gig marrd by bad sound. Sound was good for Cairo so whilst Vector is not renowned for good sound it was not the sole reason which appeared to be too much midrange which meant the individual skills of the guitars was lost

Great concert! It was always gonna be interesting, with only 1 album to play from, and in saying that, a couple of tracks were a bit average, but overall a shit hot night out.
Josh Homme is a stunning frontman, (really looking forward to a QotS gig now!)
Dave & JPJ were into it, and the other guy, Johannes was a needed addition to a live set.
Would have loved a Led Zep song thrown in at the end, but like Josh said,"we aint no covers band!" Hope they do another record.

Amazing to see these guys live. definitely the sum total of their parts if not more! can't wait for the next album. Might have to wear some plugs next time-def the loudest I've heard for a while!

A proper rock concert! Music great .. maybe over amplified so vocal not good on some songs but drums and guitars awesome.

.. shame about the arena .. the shed a better name... and the piped music - as if it was needed. 5 stars for the band, -1 for the venue.

I am writing this form the perspective of a professional muso and regular concert goer.
My muso friend and I both enjoyed the show and superlative musicianship on display.
But the volume inside the arena was complelely over the top and spoilt the occasion somewhat.
The show would've benefited from a more subtle approach on the sound desk. As it was the levels were painful and didn't do the guys justice.
No wonder JPJ took his earplugs out at the end as I suspect he has some concern for his hearing these days.
