Great show but should of had a concert in Wellington. Missed a couple of my fav FNM songs on the playlist and seemed a little short time wise. Awesome to see the group together and come back to NZ. My first time at the Vector Arena, couldn't figure out why you had to sit down on the floor before the gig started. The opening act were great too. Lack of extra public transport after show ended was a let down (too used to the service in Wgtn). Throughly enjoyed the show and hopefully they will return.

Re-united, what an awesome way to start a show and show off Pattons amazing voice. Played most of the classics and entertained betweens songs. Don't Dream its Over was pretty funny especially how they kept playing it. The only sour note was they didn't have a killer finale. Digging the Grave was good but it didn't feel complete at the end. But other than that mean as.

Faith No More performed an excellent show. While the sound mix left something to be desired at times, the showmanship, and the scale of stage and lighting really made up for any other shortcomings. I thoroughly recommend this gig to any die hard fan, or even a mild one.

Been to loads of concerts and this is definitely in my top 5. Mike Patton was on form - vocals were awesome and his sarcastic wit is incomparable. The sound quality was superb and the set list was great.

Overall I thought the show was awesome and a lot of fun. I was however disappointed to find out the set list was cut short, missing out favourites "Stripsearch", "We Care A Lot" and a few others. I'm guessing this was something to do with the fact Mike Patton was booed after he called us wombats (which seemed like an honest mistake on his part but Kiwi's don't like being mistaken for Auzzies and vice versa). Some bits of the show were a bit random, there was the shoe sniffing, the calling Tom Jones onto the stage, singing Crowded House's "Don't Dream It's Over" 3 times as an encore and abusing some shaved head guy in the crowd, repeatedly telling him to shut the hell up!

I was at the last concert all those years ago at North Shore Events Centre and thought it would be the last one but thank goodness that wasn't to be the case. It seems that not only had I got a little rounder around the middle but so had FNM, however they were better than ever. I fell in love with this band all over again, the musical talent and diversity once again shone through. All the positives of growing older and wiser were apparent but the energy certainly hadn't suffered at all. Musically FNM has always touched my soul, their bravery and the magic that they weave together has been missed, good to have you back guys.

fairly dissapointed in the set list given the amount of hits that were left out. ie. we care alot, falling to pieces and stripsearch.
A bit too much added screaming for my personal liking.
Epic was not the standout performance I was looking forward to.
If it wasn't for Mike Pattons entertaining antics as frontman I would have been left feeling thoroughly dissapointed by the show however he manged to liven up an otherwise flat performance.

haing loved Faith No More for many many years and having never seen them before I was really looking forward to this concert as I heard they were supposed to be one of the best bands live. After seeing Greenday and Nickleback recently (both bands sounded excellent and had fantastic audience particpatation and down to earth persoanlities) I was expecting the same from FNM - well I was disappointed. As great as they sounded live and very similar to their CD's etc - I couldn't help but think why did they play that crap crowded house song 3 times!!!! We are at a rock concert to listen to Faith No More and not crowded House - and what was it with that long "lets pretend I'm asleep for 5 minutes". They only played for about 1.5 hours (including encores) and the ever ranting and raving about Tom Jones! I heard they played a different set in Christchurch and played for over 2hrs and even played "We Care a Lot" - what a shame they didn't bring the same enthusiasm to the Auckland Gig. Maybe it was the audience, but I reckon we sounded pretty good and weren't too mellow at all. I wouldn't see them again as good as they sounded, Mike Patton just ruined it for me.

Apart from Mike Patton's bizarre request for the crowd to call out Tom Jones and regular mocking of the crowd and NZ in general (they did a weird rendition of 'Don't Dream its Over' where the played and went off then came back on again and played it again several times) this was a great gig.
Being the bizarre and slightly unhinged guy that he is, it wasn't surprising to see some arrogant on stage antics from Patton. Apparently Tom Jones was actually there (go figure) and it would have been interesting to see him on stage with FNM. Overall the band was tight, the set list was great (apart from a few ommissions i.e. we care a lot) and FNM have not lost much in the ten years or so that they have been absent. One complaint was the failure to properly announce the support of the Eagles of Death Metal before the gig but I guess that goes to show you should always get there early.

Simply brilliant, opening act Eagles of Death Metal were okay but everyone was really hankering for some FNM action, Mike Patton made sure this concert was a disappointment. It felt like they could have really gone on for at least 3-4 more songs but that may just be wishful thinking.

Being in the thick of the crowd in g.a makes all the difference, you really feel a part of the show and the vibe from everyone around was that this was an awesome concert. Mike Patton interacted with the crowd and apart from the wombat comment, had made an effort to know his audience. Eagles of Death Metal were a great opener too.

one of the worlds most underrated bands only to break up and become one of the most wanted reunion and now they have and they have done it well.
the band jammed so well, pattons voice was as powerful as ever, and its good to see that they are enjoying themselves up there, hope to see them again as its worth every penny.
