Owl City surprisingly awesome

Favourite moment: Fireflies with a long intro left me wondering "is this my favourite song" then all was revealed. Loved it! @
Opening act(s): Alaska, in my opinion a great new band to keep a look out for, very talented indeed. Also the 1st support act was the girl who actually sings with Owl City but I can't remember her name sorry, she was awesome too, lovely voice :-) @

Wow I was quietly impressed by both the venue and the band for this event. Auckland Town Hall was small but Perfect for this intimate concert. Owl City were so much better than I had anticipated, great accoustics and even better atmosphere. The support bands were awesome too, Alaska rocked and a new fave band of mine now :-)
Owl City are well worth going to see live, trust me!!

Great night! Easy to find and to get a carpark! Picked up tickets without a hitch and even got seats on the balcony! Excellent night! Great Concert! Loved it!

Fantastic intimate concert. Opening band, Alaska, great, wish I could find them on FB to get some of their music.
Owl city were great, telented band. Interaction with the crowd was fun.

Sound didn't seem mixed right, the music was over powering the words. The girls loved it though. I got a seat up the top, which pleased me.

The first 2 hours 15 minutes was just a mixture of opening bands and waiting but when owl city got on the stage i realised it was well worth the wait. He interacted with the crowd well and it made for a great night out.

We went to Cobra Starship at the beginning of this year in Auckland and didnt know that Owl City were the opening band... I have to Say Owl City stole the show for me, they were so amazing! I liked them better than Cobra Starship! they had great crowd interaction and the lead singer was so stoked that he was so far from home yet the crowd sung him his song fire flies it was truly an awesom gig i would recommend you go and see them you will not be dissapointed.
By the way vanilla twilight is my new favourite song :)

A great way to spend a Saturday afternoon. Went to the concert with my 15 year old because I didn't want her going on her own (we're from overseas) but I found myself really enjoying the show. The crowd were very responsive and Adam Young was great live.
