After a boring support band I waited until 11pm for Ladyhawke, I did not want to be squashed in, so I found a posy up the back.Good view but the sound was really bad, plus i was too close to the ladies toilets which for some reason had a smell problem. I think the staff had tried to disgiuse it but every poor woman that walked out, had their nose blocked.
So between the smell and the sound it was too much, so I left.
Ladyhawke needed a bigger venue.

Throughly enjoyed this concert. Great music, audiance was really getting into it. Singing along. Of course Delirum at the end was very anticipated and well received. She is getting better with relating to her audiance. Well done, looking forward to seeing another Ladyhawke concert

Opening act(s): She's So Rad. Should be renamed "She's So Terrible". Absolutely abysmal band. The Mac computer did the lion's share of the work and the band members didn't function as one unit. I suspect they'd had a fight before they went on. No-one was in charge and their 'music' was just awful. Never again. @

Ladyhawke in Wellington, a very welcome homecoming for Pip Brown who absolutely owned the stage. With a brilliant band she wowed the welcoming audience for a very solid set and of course came back on to finish off the night with My Delirium.

Just one problem - don't advertise that a gig starts at 8 when the warm-up band doesn't even go until 9.20.

ladyhawke at sfbh in wellington. Very cool rocker, awesome voice, great gig. She said thank you at the end of playing every song, kiwi accent v sweet. A solid 90mins. Started 10.35pm which we didnt realise so were there quite early. No where to sit at sfbh - but its ladyhawke! We're happy to stand! A prety awesome gig. Would definitely recommend.

LadyHawke was really good, it was ashame the last song was messed up but other than that it was great. The powerstation is an awesum location although the aircon was cranked up to freezing, I'd recommend a more warmer temp next time!

Wot a star!

She got straight down to the music and played it true to how she sounds recorded.
No crap comments to make, good variety of party people who all thoroughly enjoyed it.
She just played the music and rocked.

Great concert but dissapointed support bands did not play right up until LadyHawke took the stage (there was about an hour where nothing played). Surely CHCH has bands that could do with the exposure and opportunity and at $55 a ticket the audience should not be left unentertained for such a long period of time.

Ladyhawke had an awesome performance - voice, music, lights, personality, everything! Since it was Halloween, her and the band member were dressed as skeletons which I thought was neat. She seemed like a really genuine person, a real kiwi. :) I was surprised My Delirium was the very last song they played, the crowd was awesome, everyone went absolutely wild! Overall, a really good show! Looking forward to her next concert...

One of the best gigs ever! and ive been to quite a lot. Her stage presence, although she seems very quiet and timid, is execeptional and upbeat, making you want to dance even during the slower songs. Her guitar skills are mint. Her band was pretty good too. So worth the money, and cant wait to see her at BDO!

Thanks Ladyhawke, for coming to chch! What a great show, so glad I went. A bit surprised that the gig wasn't sold out - whats wrong with you Chch? But that was better for me - more room and jump around and yell!
Loved it, will defo go again next time she is in town.

A totally cool, intimate experience at the Power station was to be had by all. As a group they were really cohesive, especially musically, but I think this was due to front singer Pip Brown's cute, geeky, and extremely humble personality (very refreshing in someone of her status).... However, this was thrown out the window when belting out her tunes! Strong, confident and alluring. Nice work team! We had heaps of fun :-)
