show was very good, compare great, creativity excellent, sound and view good, seating was hard and uncomfortable, air was hot and stuffy, choreography was pretty much the same throughout. everyone we spoke to said the same about the seating and air.

There were some really good parts, but sadly it was so hot inside we were nearly fainting. Also too much talking, would loved to have seen more and heard less. Maybe have more than one on display at a time.

I had a fantastic evening with a group of friends from Taupo. The show was absolutely fabulous and I would highly recommend it to anyone wanting a fun night out. The lighting was amazing, the music was great, the compere did a fantastic job, the models looked fabulous and variety of designers and their creations was truly inspiring.
We all thought some of the girls were too quick walking on the catwalk and we missed some great photo opportunities.
Unfortunately we didn't understand the voting system and did not get a program until half time so had little opportunity to vote for the categories we wanted but we know for next time!

Congratulations to all the competitors, participants and organisers for a brilliant show.
Just what you can do with washers, shot gun cartridges, feathers, clay shooting targets, watch parts, silage wrap and electrical insulation tape (to name just a few of the mediums) defies the imagination. Most of the creationz were quite amazing and were a credit to their designers and the proximity of the stands to the stage gave everyone a clear unhindered view while the five large screens showed off the more intricate details (weaving, beading etc) to great effect.
The Girls weekend didn't work so two couples went instead for a look see and as one of the group had been to a Wearable Arts (in Wellington) there was a comparison to be made (which Wearable Creationz passed with bells on). A majority of the Creationz would have been in with a chance in Wellington. While more low key and not as flashy. as Wellington, Jackie Clark was brilliant as emcee and the opening dance sequences were great. The consensus was that the girls intend to return next year bringing the others and maybe a cushion or two to pad the seats.
The only small downers for the evening was trying to find parking (memo to self to get there earlier next year), the hardness of the seats, the halo entrance spots which rotated each time and blinded you, wondering if high level ultra-violent lights would have shown the tops of some possibily truely wonderful designs and the odd creationz that appeared to have been rushed which let themselves and their fellow competitors down.

This show was incredibly professional. The quality of the entries were a credit to Rotorua and surrounding areas. It's a great way to showcase the talents of the Bay of Plenty population. The visual effects, sound system and lighting were top notch and the MC for the evening, Jackie Clarke, was very entertaining. My major complaint of the evening, was that the show went on for far too long. The discomfort of sitting for so long on those lttle seats (even with a cushion) made me wish the evening had ended by the time intermission had rolled around. I also felt that it was too warm inside the event center, and there was really no room under our feet to store the winter jackets we had all worn that night.

First time at a wearable creations show, was amazed to see the talent from junior section, very creative ideas and thinking outside the square, congratulations on the local businesses for supporting the event with your entrants, very professional, great colour, lightening and sound. Good show to take the family to.

Looked forward to my first wearable creation night and was warned by a loud voice at the beginning of the show to be prepared for loud music and flashing lights. A bit late as I had already bought my ticket and traveled to Rotorua for the show.
I could cover my eyes from the bright coloured lights flashing into my eyes as each contestant came out but the loud music became unbearable and we left after an hour and a half. We really liked the creations we did see and the selection of music the contestants chose BUT the volume of the music and the shouting of the MC overshadowed what I went to see.

The seating was uncomfortable and the show was too long. The wearable creations were good and the music was great. Loved the band. Move it along next year with less time on the stage for each creation.

Was impressed about the organisation and fluency of the whole event. From the exibitions in the foyer, the mistress of seremonies, to the incredible entries. Well done, Rotorua and well done to all involved!

Really enjoyed the show and so did my 2 daughters aged 11 and 13yrs. Felt like it was really professionally organised and well worth the money. The only complaint was the seating, the plastic seat was hard and there was no room between your knees and the chair in front - next time we will take a cushion.

I regularly attend World of Wearable Art in Wellington but had never heard of Wearable Creationz Rotorua so this was all new to me. I took my son's mother-in-law with me as she had never been to anything like this before - we both really enjoyed it, we will go again next year and take more people with us.
The whole show was very well organised and really vibrant, great lighting, great music and wonderful creations and Jackie Clark was a wonderful hostess - she can really sing and is very funny. The amount of effort put into this show and the creations modelled was amazing and the price was low, for nearly four hours of entertainment it was most excellent value for money.

The majority of the creations were quite creative and some were outstanding. Jackie Clarke was fantastic and held the show together. The venue rated only fair mainly due to the type of seating in the stands. The lighting during the show was too dark at times and the show in general dragged out too long.

Not as great as I expected. Jackie Clark was a great MC for the night. The hair prizes went to organisers husband and past winner - unfair when there were plenty of other/better entrants. The people by us felt cheated and walked out.
There are some very clever and talented people around. Well done to all. The winners were all very deserving.

Had an 'ab fab' night at the Wearable Creationz. From the moment we entered the venue until the time we left everything, food, wine, entertainment and show was of the best quality and so enjoyable.
