It was a good concert shame about the weather but it wasn't cold the top twins are the best I did think the sound wasn't that fantastic when Don and the band sang first time at the black barn awesome venue will be back

Even though we were sitting watchng in the rain the Topp Twins had us laughing and wanting to sing along. We loved the comedy and yodelling and the evening went too fast.

The Topp Twins sang well, worked the crowd amazingly well and almost made us forget that we were being soaked by the persistent rain. Don McGlashan showed what a skilled songwriter he is. While the Seven Sisters were very good musos, I enjoyed the numbers with just him and his guitar best.

Great show despite the rain. Those ladies are brilliant. Really enjoyed Don and the Seven Sisters, the sound again despite the rain was great.

In spite of an untypically wet Hawkes Bay evening these performers as always had the crowd laughing and grooving to the catchy new songs - a really entertaining evening and noone complaining about the weather!! A great combination with Don MacGlashan & the Seven Sisters taking Topp Twins music to a new level - fantastic! These two as always combine a quriky comedic performance with intelligent relevant political commentary that cuts where it needs to . Awesome evening.

I have seen the Topp Twins about 10 years ago. They are now even more hillerious. And of cause fantastic real entertainer . There spirit Comes over Straigt away, when they enter the stage, what ever they do...
Don and his Band was brilliant too. But when they all melted together it was very touching!

Overall the venue was FABULOUS - Well done for creating a Fantastic Atmosphere -
Once again the Topp Twins came through with lots of laughter, smiles and crowd participation - we just felt the Topp Twins should of come back on as their characters at the end of the show - Don and his band were great but it lowered the atmosphere where everyone was hyped from the 1st part of the show hence why the Toppys should of come back as their characters -

I loved it...weather was fabulous....twins are so funny, quick witted and clever, Don McGlashan is wonderful...but sound system could have been louder

Great late afternoon Summer entertainment on the grass at Ascension Winery! A+ for Location / Weather / Support Band / Main Stars! I'm proud to be a Kiwi with events like this one! They're everyone's sisters, cousins, aunties, friends! Beaut singing and A GREAT LAUGH TOO! PS: Ascension Vineyard Rose was delicious and the most beautiful colour!

A magical event on a perfect summer late afternoon/early evening, in a perfect setting. Ascencion Wines set the scene beautifully and the Topp Twins and Don McGlashan and his group provided 'topp class' entertainment for an appreciative audience. Great music and lots of laughs!

My friend & I really enjoyed the show - especially the Topp Twins. Don McGlashans' band could maybe have played less ' afternoon style ' music, although it was nice to listen to. We just felt that by 7.30pm, when they came on, we were all ready for something a bit more grunty. Felt a bit like we were listening to afternoon/lunch style music until they were joined by the Topp Twins, which livened thinngs up again.
Overall, a fun evening.

Apart from their great country style singing and astounding yodelling, the Topp Twins' humour and their audience involvement were brilliant. They had the crowd totally in their hands. This is the first time I've seen them live and would recommend them as a first-class act. They were very well backed by the Don McGlahen band.
Musically the whole evening was superb - especially Don's singing his own songs and the expert drumming by Chris O'Connor. Very professional all round.
The venue and set-up by the Ascension Wine Estate made a memorable outing.

The concert was outstanding. The venue was packed. The topp twins are such are insperational for all people. Especally the ones who are battling w ith cancer or are coming out as lesbians or gay. Don was amazing loved the old songs. They are amazing people who are funny and very talented. I would love to see them again.

Had a fantastic time in the lovely Ascension Vineyard. The Topp Twins were just great. Involved the audience from the first minute they were on stage. Their original songs were a joy to listen to, particularly when they shared the personal nature of each.
We had never heard Don McGlashan live before - great band (but where were the seven sisters?), and wonderful original material.
What a wonderful land we have that these artists can be so passionate about it, and that they can engage a total audience like they did.

What a great evening we had at Cable Bay watching the Topp Twins and Don McGlashan.
The Topp Twins were again at their brilliant best! They are SO funny and very quick witted. It's great how they include the crowd in their performance. I could easily have watched them for much longer.
Would definitely go again.
