Visiting Auckland from San Diego, I was hoping to catch a good show- I witnessed an awesome show that really involved the pulsating energies of a receptive and intense crowd.

Opening act(s): the opening dj :( not so good kinda lame let beats go 4 too long and played the same sounds for hours he kinda sucked @

Sneaky Sound System were on fire! After a big build up thanks to the supporting DJ, the crowd went wild when Sneaky finally arrived on stage. The whole floor was amping with tons of energy dancing to their usual tracks, which were instant hits with the crowd along with some remixed versions of old classics such as Around The World - Daft Punk and Sweet Dreams - Eurythmics. Definitely a great night out! :)

the show itself although it started 3 hours later than scheduled was great. loved it! but the DJ that opened for them...OMG!!!!! he needs to find another job...he was TERRIBLE! besides the fact that he played for too long, the least he could have done was play good music...was about to leave the place after listening to his crap music for almost 3 hours, when sneaky sound system came on just in time and saved the day.

Club athmosphere, it was a nice venue, interesting to be one of the oldest clubbers there and this being a new experience for us. It took quite long b4 it started, waiting. I had always thought that Sneaky Sound system was a band so was disappointed to see that a lot of tapes are used. Nice people and good night overall. Some nice dancing and hopping up an down. Very interesting outfits for Connie.

club music in a gig environment. Miss connies voice showed all its amazing potential. a couple of moments soared and had jaw dropping, though I got the feeling she just wasnt over her throat problems which postponed them....not sure the chemistry between them was right on the night? Having said that i danced all night and loved every second, very upbeat sounds. loved her dance moves. Great venue. Id definately see them again.

Hugely disappointing that the 3 hr build-up to SSS taking the stage was entirely squandered by the pathetic excuse for a DJ, who continually 'dropped' the vibe and the crowd with his randomness. There are plenty of talented DJs out there who would give their eye teeth to play to a crowd of 1000+ at the Powerstation, so why did this guy get the nod? He even resorted to playing a SSS track 15 minutes before they took the stage...what was the point?!!
On the other hand, Sneaky were great.
