This years programe flowed better with much less stop-start, but with such a short second half - intermission was unnecessary. Nice to see the nod to the RWC with international designers! Where were some of the other sections that have previously featured?? Loose the 'smoke' effect doesn't help anyone

Enjoyed it being different ths year and more international flavour relevant to World Cup. Recommend a return to more usual format next year but good to introduce some difference to keep it fresh and maybe some different judges to give different perspectives.
Ending seemed a bit flat this year. Other suggestions are to have merchandise available eg T-shirts etc and using more visual effects/props like Wearable Arts. Another good idea is to have outfits for viewing afterwards eg at a museum/show like Wearable Arts - would be graat to see up close - good way of raising revenue to feedback into show production.

It was the most amazing fashion show I have been to. So much colour, culture, music and life! The atmosphere that was created was incredible. Beautiful display of designers work.

Very, very entertaining & emotional night, thought the winner's were very humble, honest people who deserved every moment of the night. Soooo proud of our nation celebrating NZ as a wonderful melting pot. Musically it totally rocked!!!

I have attended this event for about 10 yrs and loved every previous show - have introduced it either directly or indirectly to about 30 others. The recent event may unfortunately be my last for the following reasons: the sound was uncomfortably loud at times particularly during the 2nd section and the commentaries between sections; Hero section (a favourite) has gone; less variety of entertainment;; shorter cat-walk - overall it felt as if the show had lost its soul. Our seats were right at the back but given the loudness at times we would not have wanted to be closer. I had binoculars so could observe quite a difference in the actual colours of garments compared with the hazy film on the side screens. There are clearly reasons for the changes in the show but I hope they can be overcome as I would love to continue going and recommending it but feel unable to do so now.

A very slick show with a wonderful mix of traditional and contemporary Pasific styles and performances. The diversity of Pacific talent and influence was showcased in both the garments and the accompanying performers. Big ups to the organisers of this excellent event - will definitely attend again!

What a spectacular performance!
Every person who contributed to the Westfield Style Pasifika show, whether planning, preparing or performing, can be immensely proud of their part.
Each of you gave your best and it shone through! Well done!!
The garment designers and the models, the lighting and sound technicians, the variety of entertainers to grace the stage and keep us all amazed and excited, just made for an incredible evening. The programme flowed seamlessly.

I went with 2 friends and we all loved it...great value too...fantastic entertainment as well as fashion. Fantastic initiative bringing international designers here and giving them NZ merino to work with...BUT it is getting a bit slick...the earlier shows were more spontaneous...real pasifika...more fun and audience participation I think...we are getting a bit too sophisticated and commercial...way of the world i guess!

I can't believe this show is not sold out each year. It's not that expensive to go to. Would be nice if you could hire binoculars to see the detail on the outfits that you miss from a distance.

This was my first Pasifika Fashion Awards and I thoroughly enjoyed it - Can't say I agreed with the judging though :) I especially loved the Body Art, Bridal and the Parent & Child sections. There are some very talented and creative people in our midst.

I went to this event last year, but this year was even better.
Only one bad mark my friends and I thought the entertenment was better last year but overall a great night.
Will be back again next year.

The quality and variety of the entertainment was hugely enjoyable. The fashion , models and staging was excellent. Pity about the strange conclusions in judging some of the categories, where much more attractive designs were overlooked by judges.
The awards presentation was a shambles...poor speeches and very unpolished,. That aside , it was a great night out of very high quality which we thoroughly enjoyed
