I still enjoy going to the rebuilt Eden Park, especially the covered areas of the South stand which are generally out of the weather with a good view, not bad for $30. Queues for beer and food are frustrating tho.
Also it was a bit embarrassing that I suggested to some visitors from France that they take the train, only for them to miss the first 20 minutes. Not the event organiser’s fault, but they do keep telling everyone to catch public transport, only to have it fail fairly regularly (usually the trains more than buses).

Great game. Sorry the blues had to suffer another defeat (despite a fantastic kicking effort from Lachie) but you have to admit that the team that scored 4 tries deserved to win and that final try by Captain Smith was outstanding.

went to watch the blues smash the hurricanes but ended up meeting corey jane and jeffery Toomaga-Allen wich made my night and awsome night that i would never forget ... pity the blues lost but i still had a good time and i still love and support my blues team 100% woohh ... can't wait to go to other games and support the blues xox

Great game, couple of unbelievable breakaway tries from the Hurricanes. Blues unlucky, but patchy defence let them down. Late Barret/Smith try was sensational, and with 30 seconds on the clock the final nail for the Blues.

Amazing atmosphere, people are obviously still reeling from RWC win.
Fantastic to watch RWC players on both teams compete...
Such a close game makes it exciting, especially the finish.

Booking via the internet very slow, needs perseverance, but really well run event at affordable cost in a world class venue.
The Blues will make it, just need to settle & adjust to new team!

i love going to eden park, but to tell the truth blues were disappointing, bad passing, bad defense, and attack was hard to get through the hurricanes defense.....the atmosphere was awesome, the only good thing was the kicker for blues....hurricanes were consistent and deserved that try at the end....good game!!!

The better side won at the end of the day. The Hurricanes undoubtedly deserved this victory - despite giving away many penalties. The Blues only scored a single Try & ultimately that's what cost them the game. Free bus travel to the ground & back, GA seating, & free Blues supporters flags, along with half time treats & entertainment all meant the event was well organized & family friendly. I'd heartily recommend the True Blue promotion to anyone out there reading this, who's a Blues fan - even if their numbers must be diminishing after the lacklustre performance this season.

Very good game , exciting to the end.Blues played well.Hurricanes deserved the win. no dirty play which was fantastic.great referee, steve walsh let them play the game.

We bought tickets fot the whole family. It was the first time the kids have been to a Super rugby game. Easy to get in - not too much of a queue. Easy to find seats and they were really good seats too. Would go again.

Enjoyed the game although as a Blues fan I would have prefered a different result. However, early season games are often a bit scrappy with lots of dropped ball and passes not finding their receiver.
