We arrived at 7pm and it took us over 45 minutes to pick up our tickets, we missed the beginning of the game. They were so unorganized. We will not be going to that stadium again for any venue. Good luck for the Rugby World Cup.

I must admit I didn't expect having to queue for 25mins to pick up my preordered tickets and get in to the ground. Thankfully I was there before 7pm but I could hear disgruntled punters who had joined the wrong queue (next to us) voicing their dismay.
The 2nd half display by the blues was hardly fitting of the occassion - very poor showing - several friends of mine who were also at the ground left with 10mins to go and you could see people exiting the ground all around the stadium - not a great atmosphere to finish

Nth Harbour Stadium Blues vs Canes

Favourite moment: Weepu's penalty kick from halfway. Why wasn't he kicking from the start ? @

I've NO sympathy for those who couldn't get in. It was reported in the media 48 hours pre-game that there would be 20,000+ there, so why not get there early ? It was a gorgeous summer evening, we got there at 6 30 and had a leisurely beer, feed, and bask in the sun for a relaxing hour.
But I will say that getting out of there is a nightmare !!! Why are there no signs for the motorway on the adjacent stadium roads ???? It took us 40 minutes to get to the motorway. Ridiculous.

What more can you want when you are surrounded by great friends, a great crowd and overall, the team we support won woohoo!!
6 of us travelled from Hamilton to Auckland where we met up with 2 fellow Blue supporters (8 of us in total).
We had great seats thus allowing us to make it on TV 3 times that night, we had texts from family and friends telling us they saw us and wanted our autographs. It was an amazing night, would recommend any Hurricanes Fans to make it to a Super 14 game this season. Go the CANES!!

Don't ever go to a big game at Albany. I pre booked tickets and couldn't even pick them up on time. I waited in line for 25 mins while THE GAME WAS BEING PLAYED, then got to the counter only to find that some lady was already passing out tickets in the queue. The only bright spot was seeing the Hurricanes win.
So looking forward to EDen Park opening again.

First half was great. Crowd was great. The 5 times around Mexican wave was great. The 80's music was great.
The second half was a comedy of errors - nuff said.
Maybe the coaches should tell some of the players that they will be relegated to the cheerleaders squad if they can't keep hold of a ball. That reminds me ... The cheerleaders should learn a few new routines.

Hi, from the family embankment you can't hear 90% of what is said on the loudspeakers - which means you can't join in except by presumption (flag waving etc) & you miss quite a bit. Can a relay speaker system be put in??
Nice stadium - good parking & ease of traffic leaving.

Getting to match was simple and plenty of street parking.
Pre match entertainment was great, very good at keeping the kids entertained and wanting to come and watch Rugby, something that the guiness premierrship doesnt do as well. good atmosphere at kick off.
Rugby was slightly dissapointing as some basic errors meant neither team really got enough passes together to get any flair going. Both teams were more seems more concerned about other things than winning, however Last 10 was super as Blues lost out by a last min kick.
Most annoying thing was the playing of 80's music at scrum everybreakdown, perhaps this is a TV thing or New Zealand way of life.
Beer and food was readily available and decent local fodder.

Quite frankly I would rather watch the rugby at a pub where it is warm and the crowd are more vocal and there is a commentary to listen to which tells you what is going on!
And you don't have to queue for ages to get a drink and some really unhealthy food that is cold!

Great venue but same complaints- we pay top dollar for Premium Seats that are supposedly under cover. In this instance it wasn't raining so everything went well but on numerous previous ocassions I have paid top dollar and got soaking wet in what are supposed to be covered seats. They are only ever covered if the rain comes from the North.
Second complaint is the huge huge wait for a drink and something to eat. It's not acceptable in a modern stadium.
Only saving grace is that Mt Smart is so much worse but it wouldn't cut it in Australia.
