First time I have ever been to the multiple-days festival.
Incredible set up right on the hills gets people in the mood of afternoon relaxation smoothly moving into the hard-core night event.
Obviously everyone wanted headliner - Moby - to be playing on 31st but there must be reasons (mostlikely him touring somewhere else over 31st) for that not being organized.
A bit of misleading info was disappointing when it said everywhere to bring Eftpos but eventually Eftpos could not be even used on site except for taking money out and using those R&V cards.
After-event buses situation is not perfect either as the amount of people is all known by the organizers in advance but the crowd that is tired after hours of dancing was definitely not happy with the policemen attitude. May be more bus stops so that more buses could be there at once? Extension of that car park is definitely required.
Music-wise it will well-done taking into account that Matakana Conspiracy and other smaller festival "stole" heaps of acts that could have been part of R&V to keep it exciting.
Anyhow, it was fantastic way of spending New Years being surrounded by hills, unforgettable sunsets, hammocks on a side that let people relax and observe the main stage for a few minutes, naked-people favourite spot - water slide, good vibe.

Favourite moment: Moby was the highlight of my whole festival to be honest. To see a legend playing live and doing it well over my expectations was a privilege! @
