Favourite moment: Acoustic duo song - all done through one mike, it takes a lot to silence a crowd like they did. @
Opening act(s): The Unfaithful - Where did these guys come from?! Incredible opening act - really set the vibe for the night, all of them excellent musicians, was a pleasure to watch. @

Band of Horses look tired. I guess their deserved increase in popularity has its side effects. But in no way did they sound tired. With beautiful sonic peaks and quiet moments cemented with harmonises to die for it really was a slightly overwhelming experience - in a good way! I recall their last gig at the Kings Arms and they certainly have polished their sound. The act is much the same - they get up and they play...and play they do taking the audience this night on an alt country/rock/folk infused trip which I will remember for a very long time. An excellent concert.

This lovely delightful band gave concert-goers a full throttle, Southern party on Tuesday nite. They played all the wonderful songs that have gathered them a loyal following, finishing with the impossibly uplifting The Funeral. They really played with all their hearts even to the small crowd in the ever-fab Powerstation.
